A welcoming secondary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for a Year 11 female student with SEMH needs. This is a full-time, long-term role, ideal for someone with experience supporting students who require emotional and behavioural support in an educational setting.

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant you will: Work 1:1 with a Year 11 student to support her academic engagement, wellbeing, and confidence Provide consistent emotional support and help manage any SEMH-related challenges Build a positive, trusting relationship that encourages progress and independence Collaborate closely with teachers, the SENCO, and pastoral staff to deliver tailored interventions
