Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time

About the Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students across various subjects and age groups. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive classroom activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
Monitor and record student progress to inform teaching strategies.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure consistent support.
Promote a respectful, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient and supportive approach to working with students.
A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Education or Childcare is advantageous but not essential.

To work with GSL Education as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you should:

Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
