We are looking for an experienced sales professional to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic retail clients in the UK. The Account Director role involves delivering strategic, commercially oriented business direction to clients, as well as managing sales processes to upsell solutions and sell into new entities within retail accounts. Success is measured by growth in the retail territory and the success of initiatives connecting our brands with those retailers, which is a core company strategy.
We seek a passionate individual who enjoys solving clients’ business problems and exceeding retention targets, with a sales mentality for growth and new revenue opportunities within existing relationships. Requirements include 5+ years of account management or customer success experience in ecommerce, digital, or SaaS industries.
Manage a strategic territory, including account management and opportunity identification for growth.
# Build and maintain a pipeline within existing accounts.
# Demonstrate and sell high-ROI software solutions to C-level stakeholders, navigating complex sales cycles and building consensus.
# Manage all aspects of client relationships to ensure success with Bazaarvoice products and services.
# Lead sales cycles and collaborate with internal teams to close deals.
# 5+ years of account management or customer success experience in ecommerce, digital, or SaaS industries.
# Experience with proven sales methodologies, such as BANT, with full training provided.
# Track record of exceeding quotas and building account champions for mutual success.
# Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
Experience with Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Excel.
