Assistant Footwear Product Developer

This is a 1 year Maternity cover, based in Central London and you must have 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

Support the Design Team on new collections, collabs, and special make-ups from concept to production
Keep the product critical path up to date - making sure samples, approvals, and timelines all stay on track
Create and manage product specs, samples, trims, and colour developments across all styles
Stay in daily contact with factories and suppliers, tracking progress and flagging any issues early
Help engineer styles to hit design, quality, and margin goals while keeping creative integrity
Keep everything organised - from sample rooms to digital files - so the team runs smoothly

Person Specifications:

Minimum 2 years product development experience
A natural ability to multi-task with strict adherence to deadlines.
Strong detail orientation with excellent time management and organisational skills.
Proficient in Excel and ability to deal with multiple data - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Eagerness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, driven by teamwork and collaborative
innovation.
Self-starter and solution-oriented and able to manage own workload.
