Job Opportunity: Chartered Building Surveyor – Project-Focused | Ashford, Kent
Are you an experienced Building Surveyor ready to step into a role where you can genuinely make an impact? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading international, independent real estate consultancy with a refreshingly different approach to people, projects, and progress.
We’re on the lookout for a driven, MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor to help grow the project management offering in the Ashford region. This is a key strategic role, with a strong pipeline of project work and the chance to shape and grow your own team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and develop the project management service line in the region, building strong relationships and delivering outstanding client outcomes.
- Oversee a small but growing team including a graduate and two apprentices, with wider support from across the business.
- Manage a varied portfolio including dilapidations and tenant alterations, alongside growing project work.
- Opportunity to take on line management responsibilities and play a central role in expanding the local team.
What We’re Looking For:
- MRICS qualification.
- Proven experience in commercial real estate sectors – particularly retail, office, and industrial.
- Strong background in project work, dilapidations, and tenant alterations.
- Client-facing confidence, with the ability to build a network and generate revenue.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in mentoring and developing junior colleagues.
- Full UK driving licence.
