If you have the aspiration, capability and dedication, Elysium Healthcare can give you the support and opportunities to help you achieve your career goals.\n\n As a Catering Assistant you will be:\n\nAssisting catering staff with both the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.\n\nServing service users, staff and visitors with food and beverages.\n\nMaintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.\n\nEnsuring that all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.\n\nAs part of the catering team, ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s policies and procedures.\n\nLiaising with the wider team, including dietitians regarding dietary and planned meals \n\nTo be successful in this role, you'll need:\n\nRelevant Catering Qualification (Desirable) \n\nKnowledge of COSHH and HACCP\n\nExperience of working within similar role.\n\n Basic numeracy and literacy skills.\n\nWhere you will be working:\n\nLocation: Rhodes Wood Hospital. Shepherds Way, Hatfield AL9 6NN\n\nJoin the team at Rhodes Wood Hospital providing care for children and young people aged 8-18 years with eating disorders who require residential care, working on tailored treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person.\n\nThere is also an on-site Ofsted Registered school to support young people continue with their education while in hospital.
