D365 F&O Technical Architect / Developer – Retail & POS

Must be in the UK (no sponsorship can be offered)

In this role, you would design, develop, and optimize D365 F&O Commerce solutions — including POS, Retail, and Commerce. Working closely with business and technical teams to implement omnichannel capabilities, integrate hardware and payment solutions, and ensure scalable, secure performance across all retail touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deliver POS and retail customizations using X++, C#, TypeScript, and Retail SDK
• Configure and optimize Commerce Scale Units, Retail Server, and CRT
• Integrate POS with hardware stations, payment connectors, and third-party systems
• Develop omnichannel features: click & collect, ship-from-store, loyalty, promotions
• Collaborate with functional consultants and testers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Provide performance tuning, troubleshooting, and technical support
• Manage deployments via Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS)

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with D365 F&O Retail/Commerce
• Strong X++, C#, and .NET Core development skills
• Hands-on POS customization (MPOS, CPOS, hardware integration)
• Knowledge of Retail Server, CRT, CSU, and channel databases
• Integration experience (REST APIs, payment gateways, e-commerce platforms)
• Familiarity with Azure Services (Service Bus, Functions, APIM)
• SQL Server, T-SQL, debugging, and performance optimization
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with Power Platform integration
• Knowledge of AX 2012 R3 Retail migrations
• Retail domain expertise in large multi-store environments
