We have an exciting opportunity to join #Team EMR as a Fleet Standards and Business Continuity Manager.

Reporting to the Fleet Quality Manager, this pivotal role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of East Midlands Railway’s Fleet Function. You’ll develop and maintain standards, procedures, and documentation in line with legislation, industry requirements, and ISO standards—supporting EMR’s Safety Certificate and continuous improvement.
You’ll also lead Business Continuity planning across EMR depots, building and testing robust strategies to keep operations running safely with minimal disruption during incidents or emergencies.

About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
An understanding of rail vehicle maintenance practices and operations, including relevant principles and standards, is desirable, along with competence in depot safety rules and PTS.

While located in Derby this role will be expected to work across all EMR Fleet Locations.
EMR has a hybrid working policy which is applicable for this role. This means the role can be based at home 2-3 days and onsite 2-3 days per week. Should you wish to work full time on site, this is also an option.
