In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel, meet new people and learn more about many of the businesses you may frequent as a consumer. You'll inform and educate restaurant, bar and grocery store owners about specific standards, while continuing to learn more about those industries and growing your skills.ResponsibilitiesConducting food safety inspectionsCoaching and training at clients' sitesSummarizing and evaluating inspection findingsCommunicating findings and results with client site management or appropriate client representativesCollecting food, product or environmental samples from client sites and shipping samples to appropriate laboratories for testingDeveloping effective work plans for the completion of assigned inspections within a specific timeframeEstablishing and maintaining effective communication with key team members, including audit delivery and client teamsPerforming other duties as requestedQualificationsMinimum Level 4 Health & Safety and Level 4 Food Safety qualifications (These are must-haves, and we can recommend a good trainer)Environmental Health Degree or similar would be idealAbility to perform audits in all disciplines (Food, H&S, Fire) and/or the ability to train safety advisorsRegistration to either CIEH or IOSH would be beneficialExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFull UK driving licenseWillingness and ability to travelWillingness to work some evenings and weekendsExcellent computer skills including Microsoft OfficeNotice to Agency and Search Firm Representatives: Please note that NSF is not accepting unsolicited resumes from agencies and search firms for this role.
