As part of our continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our close-knit, passionate team at Woodside Park, part of Options Autism. This is more than a classroom support role its a chance to inspire, nurture, and empower pupils with varied and complex needs to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
At Woodside Park, every child has potential waiting to be unlocked. As a Teaching Assistant, youll work directly with our pupils, helping them navigate their learning journeys and celebrating every milestone along the way. Youll support classroom activities, prepare learning materials, and provide hands-on guidance, while also attending to emotional and physical wellbeing ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and motivated.
Experienced in supporting pupils with SEN/ASC or complex needs.
Adaptable and confident working across a variety of classroom roles, indoors and outdoors.
Calm, patient, and empathetic, capable of running activities, supervising pupils, or leading outdoor experiences.
A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive, values-driven school environment.
Passionate about making a real difference and committed to helping every pupil succeed.
Woodside Park School is a brand-new Options Autism school, located in Penge, South East London. We provide specialist education for up to 36 pupils aged 711. Pupils are taught in small class sizes, allowing for personalised learning, and work towards a variety of qualifications tailored to their individual needs and abilities. Our dedicated team creates a nurturing and inclusive environment, where every child is supported to reach their full potential both academically and personally.
