Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Contract: Full time, Temp to Permanent

Salary: £90-100 a day (Dependent on experience)

Have you just graduated and looking to support and inspire children with a love for education? Then look no further! Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant who can work closely with staff and students, whilst allowing them to gain first-hand classroom experience in schools across Greater Manchester and continue to expand their knowledge.

What this role will entail:

• Creating a motivating and accepting classroom environment that encourages growth and passion
• Providing both group and 1:1 support with students
• Collaborating with teachers to give the best possible support
• Applying and improving subject knowledge during your time in the classroom

What the ideal candidate looks like:

• A relevant degree, or equivalent (a bachelor’s degree in education is preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience in the classroom/supporting students (desirable but not essential)
• DBS check (or willing to apply)
• Ability to work as a collective and collaborate in a professional setting
• Strong communication skills
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour
