OverviewRole OverviewWe’re looking for a seasoned SAP Retail / IS-Retail / CAR expert with deep domain experience in grocery or high-volume retail. This person will lead process design, system configuration, integration, data migration, and post-go-live support for large grocery retail clients (e.g. ASDA, Tesco). The ideal candidate understands the complexities of retail operations (promotions, pricing, replenishment, omnichannel, returns) and can map business needs to SAP solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead business requirement gathering and process workshops with retail stakeholders (merchandising, operations, supply chain)Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP Retail / IS-Retail / CAR modules to suit grocery retail use casesTranslate grocery business processes (forecasting, replenishment, pricing, promotion, POS / in-store, supply chain) into SAP Retail configurationsHandle master data, assortments, store hierarchies, product allocation, and data governanceDesign and execute data migrations / conversions from legacy retail systems into SAP Retail / CARDefine integrations between SAP Retail / CAR and surrounding systems (ERP, SCM, POS, eCommerce, logistics)Configure and support promotion / pricing engines, markdowns, discount logic, and lifecycle pricingModel and support returns / RMA, reverse logistics, refunds, recall processesPerform solution validation, unit testing, integration testing, and participate in UAT / cut-overTroubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis and provide fixesPost-go-live support, stabilization, and continuous improvement in retail processesPrepare functional design documents, process flows, test scripts, and change requestsCollaborate with development, technical, BI, and integration teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsTrain business users, support change management, and produce documentationRequired Skills & ExperienceDeep functional & process knowledge of SAP IS-Retail / SAP Retail / SAP CARProven experience in grocery / large scale retail clients (ASDA, Tesco, or similar)2 or more full implementation cycles in retail / grocery industryStrong expertise in order to cash, pricing / promotion, replenishment, inventory, allocation, returns / reverse logisticsSolid experience in integration design (REST, SOAP, IDoc, interfaces to POS, ERP, logistics)Experience with data conversion / migration, mapping legacy retail dataAbility to lead workshops, understand retail business operations, and translate to SAP solutionStrong analytical, problem solving, and communication skillsKnowledge of SAP architecture, modules, and performance considerationsGood documentation, test plan development, and business training experienceSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesRetail #J-18808-Ljbffr
