A committed strong work ethic is essential at all levels.AccountabilitiesProvide clear unequivocal HSE leadership across all DalkiaAdvise the HPC Dalkia Operations Director and Nuclear sector Director on all HSES mattersDevelop, implement, and maintain proactive and reactive monitoring systems to ensure effectiveness of the Dalkia HSES policyEnsure all worksites have a robust "hazard" identification and clear "Child RAMS/Parent RAMS" in place that detail effective control measuresDevise & implement a positive HSES culture across all levelsEnsure learning from experience and continuous business improvement is adopted throughout Dalkia operationsAccountable for reporting all incidentsEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and standardsLead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of health and safety management systems in line with company policies and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001)Act as the focal point for all health and safety matters on–site or within the business unitPromote a positive health and safety culture across the organisation and actively support behavioural safety initiativesEnsure effective incident investigation, root cause analysis, and timely implementation of corrective and preventive actionsProvide assurance to senior leadership through data reporting, audits, and compliance reviewsLead or contribute to risk assessments, method statement reviews, and safe systems of work approvalsEstablish effective 'downward' communication systems and managementEngage the workforce in the promotion and achievement of safe and healthy practicesProvide high quality training based on a risk–managed approachOwn, draft, and maintain relevant H&S documentation including processes, procedures, etc.Implement performance monitoring and reporting, including regular monthly dashboard preparation with real–time KPIsContribute to project lead team reviews, meetings, and discussions to set and maintain project objectives and performanceMinimum Qualifications/ExperienceAn industry–recognized qualification such as the NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalentExperience of maintaining or reaching externally audited management standards such as ISO 45001Credible experience in health and safety, including operations experienceExperience managing workplace well–being would be advantageousConfidence in engaging and managing stakeholdersExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage a broad portfolio of activitiesA track record of project managementPositive can–do attitude with a customer service focusWorking Pattern and LocationLocation: Primary: Hinkley Point C SiteHPC Values and BehavioursDemonstrates Humility by sharing success as a teamDemonstrates Positivity by always striving for solutionsDemonstrates Respect by valuing other points of viewDemonstrates Clarity by sharing information simply and conciselyDemonstrates Solidarity by adopting a "One Team" MEH approachHow to ApplyUse the form below or the email for more information or to apply for the vacancy.Complete our online application.
