About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, family-run manufacturing company.


The ideal candidate will have strong account management experience, with a proven ability to upsell, grow, and nurture existing accounts.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers, developing both new and existing business relationships, and introducing clients to the full range of products and services within the manufacturing sector.


As the main point of contact for your customers, you will ensure their needs and requirements are met while delivering an exceptional customer experience at all times.


On a day-to-day basis, you will manage your customer portfolio, support clients in their purchasing decisions, and build sustainable relationships to grow and maintain the business. You will also proactively identify new business opportunities and ensure all incoming calls are handled promptly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of B2B customer accounts
  • Build strong, long-term relationships and act as a trusted point of contact
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Support customers with product selection and purchasing decisions
  • Handle inbound enquiries and ensure a high level of customer service
  • Ensure accurate pricing and process customer orders efficiently
  • Manage account queries, including sales ledger and overdue payments
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet customer needs


What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, telesales, or account management
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Confident IT and numerical ability
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
  • 1 in 8 Saturdays: 09:00 – 12:00
