Reporting to: People Manager (Retail)
Location: Head Office, White City Place, West London
Contract type: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role:
ME+EM are looking for a proactive Junior People Advisor to join our People team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional people experience across our retail community. Responsibilities:

Be the first point of contact for retail teams, providing clear and confident advice on policies and procedures.

Support with employee relations cases (probations, absence, performance) and escalate where needed.

Take notes and provide support during investigations and hearings.

Own key people processes across the employee lifecycle – from onboarding to contract changes.

Keep PeopleHR records accurate, confidential, and up to date.

Assist in recruiting entry-level roles and support managers through the process.

Contribute to reporting, data analysis, and compliance with UK employment law.

Help refresh policies, handbooks, and internal documentation.

Support training, engagement, and development initiatives across the business.

Collaborate with payroll, external partners, and the wider People team on projects and improvements.
Skills:
-
Experience in a People Coordinator/Advisor role.

Strong admin skills with excellent attention to detail.

Great communication and relationship-building abilities.

Organised, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.

CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it) preferred.

A discreet and professional approach when handling sensitive information.
