Learning Support Assistant (1:1) | Reception Class Location: Putney, SW15 Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full Time | Monday - Friday School Type: Mainstream Primary School
Reeson Education are looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Putney, working 1:1 in a Reception class with a child who has special educational needs. This is a rewarding, long-term role starting immediately.
The Role:
Providing 1:1 support to a Reception-aged pupil with SEN
Supporting communication, engagement, emotional regulation and learning
Following individual support plans set by the SENCO and specialists
Helping the pupil access the EYFS curriculum and develop independence
Working closely with the class teacher and Early Years team
Requirements:
School-based SEN experience is essential
Strong understanding of early years development
Calm, patient and nurturing approach
Confident supporting children with communication or behavioural needs
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
