A fantastic opportunity to join the finance/accounts department of a well-established law firm. Were looking for temporaryLegal Cashier to support our clientwhilst they start the search for a permanent cashier.

Youll be responsible for the day-to-day management of legal finance processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency across the firm, including:

Maintaining accurate client and office ledgers, monitoring client account balances and resolving discrepancies
Processing client receipts, payments and transfers, including the handling of CHAPS, BACS, cheques and online payments
Processing legal bills, disbursements and expense payments and allocating payments to the correct matters and clients
Performing monthly bank reconciliations and reconciling client and office accounts
Assisting with month-end and year-end financial processes, including producing financial and management report
What youll need.

Proven experience working in a cashiering role, preferably within a law firm
Strong knowledge of legal accounting rules and client account procedures
