Wawne Primary School is a small village school and we are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. We pride ourselves on our welcoming, family atmosphere and our commitment to helping every child thrive.

This post is to provide 1:1 support for a pupil in our school. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the class teacher, SENDCo, and other members of staff to ensure the child's individual needs are met.

We are looking for someone who:

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 3.45pm (including 30 minutes for lunch), totalling 32½ hours per week. This is a term-time only position, starting in January 2026 and currently fixed term until 31st August 2027, with a review planned during the Summer of 2027 term.
