Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Harrow. This is a full-time position beginning in September 2025, ideal for someone looking to make a real difference in a school environment that values care, consistency, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism (ASD), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties

• Assist teachers in adapting classroom activities and resources

• Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies

• Encourage student engagement, independence, and emotional well-being

• Work closely with the SENCO and wider school staff to track and report progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential)

• Be patient, resilient, and highly motivated

• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
