More than a venue, it’s a space where DJs, performers, and visual artists share original work and where audiences come together for connection, culture and unforgettable nights. As the consumer-facing arm of Spaces Unlocked, Unlocked Shoreditch champions a new version of creative spaces in London. Working hours: Full-time (40 hours / 5 days per week) or part-time considered Role Objectives
Lead and deliver themarketingstrategy for Unlocked Shoreditch, ensuring campaigns drive ticket sales, platform growth, and brand recognition. Manage all social media and communications for the venue, staying ahead of cultural and industry trends. Oversee the creation and execution of impactfulmarketingcampaigns that attract new audiences and retain loyal ones. Produce and analyse reports to measure campaign performance and refine future strategies.
Responsibilities
Devise and execute a fullmarketingplan (digital, social, PR, partnerships) for Unlocked Shoreditch. Own the content calendar - creating, editing, and scheduling engaging content across all platforms. Manage inbound and outbound communications across social media, emailmarketing, and press channels. Collaborate with designers and external partners, briefing campaigns and creative assets clearly and on time. Lead on copywriting for all communications across social media, newsletters, press, and website. Build reports (monthly & annual) with clear data insights and recommendations. Track ticket sales, identify underperforming shows, and deliver targeted promotional campaigns to hit sales targets. Producemarketingbudgets and P&Ls, working with the accounts team to manage spend effectively. Attend regular team meetings to update onmarketingperformance and share new initiatives. Conduct continuous competitor and market research to keep Unlocked Shoreditch ahead of the curve.
Key Characteristics
A proven track record of successfully deliveringmarketingcampaigns (ideally within live music, nightlife or hospitality). Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and digital tools. Highly creative, with strong copywriting skills and an eye for design/branding. Data-driven, with the ability to produce reports and turn insights into actions. Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple campaigns at once. Team player with excellent communication skills.
Essential Experience
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a marketingrole for a venue, promoter, festival or hospitality brand. Experience managing and growing social media platforms with measurable success. Demonstrable knowledge ofmarketingbudgets, ROI, and reporting. Established contacts within nightlife, live music or hospitality (desirable).
