Role Overview

Are you a recent Maths graduate with a 2:1 or higher degree, eager to inspire students? This is an excellent opportunity to support secondary school students in Cambridge (aged 11-16) in mastering maths and boosting their confidence.

Our school is seeking a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to help students understand core mathematical concepts and foster a love for problem-solving. You will work alongside teachers to create an inclusive learning environment, providing one-to-one and small group support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the maths teacher across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Help with lesson planning, delivery, and marking student work.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support for student progress.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence in maths.
• Work with teachers to monitor and improve student performance.
• Assist in creating resources and classroom materials.
