Production Manager

Poole, Dorset Competitive salary (based on experience) Mon-Thu: 8:30am-5:00pm | Fri: 8:30am-4:00pmWe're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations at our client's Poole site. You'll play a key role in improving performance, introducing lean processes, and guiding a skilled team through an exciting phase of growth.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead and support the production team to meet output, quality, and delivery goals Plan and coordinate daily manufacturing operations Drive improvements using lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methods Monitor production metrics (OEE, yield, efficiency, downtime) Support new product launches and collaborate with engineering and supply chain Maintain high safety, quality, and compliance standards (ISO9001) Train, coach, and develop team members Recommend automation and process improvements

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a production or manufacturing management role Background in electronics, electro-mechanical, or precision assembly Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Hands-on experience with lean or Six Sigma (green/black belt ideal) Confident using ERP/MRP systems Knowledge of ISO9001 or similar standards HNC/HND or degree in engineering or manufacturing (preferred)
