The Role

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead and define the quality systems and processes, covering everything from product and packaging through to manufacturing and distribution. You’ll own and manage the client feedback loop, ensuring corrective actions are effective and timely.

You will build and develop the quality systems, evaluating and managing risk assessments and HACCP plans. You will also conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure certified food quality and safety management systems are maintained.

You will champion quality culture, coaching and developing both teams and individuals across the business to maintain the highest quality standards for the brand. You will build strong relationships with suppliers and within the business, ensuring the quality agenda is embedded into every step of the process.

This is a great role for an ambitious Quality Technologist or Food Technologist looking for a career move into a role where they can grow and build their career with a rapidly growing brand.

You’ll ideally have a degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences or related subjects and have Food Safety & HACCP Level 3 qualifications. Your previous roles will have given you hands-on experience within FMCG manufacturing, knowledge of hygiene, microorganism management and in-depth knowledge of quality management systems.

You will also bring a strong understanding of product safety regulations and compliance standards such as ISO, BRC and GFSI, both within the UK and overseas markets.

You will be highly organised, detail-oriented and super passionate about quality. You’ll be able to effectively and proactively problem-solve to ensure consistent quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. To drive projects forward you’ll will be a brilliant communicator, able to liaise clearly with people from all levels across the business. You’ll be able to demonstrate leadership qualities, with the ability to influence company culture, putting quality first every time.

This is a site-based role and you will need to have a full UK driver’s licence and a personal vehicle.
