Role overview

You will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of the Sales Strategy for our Retail Division. You will be responsible for driving commercial growth in laundry by expanding JLA’s footprint within existing accounts and acquiring new customers across the retail market. You will also identify cross-selling opportunities across other verticals and be a key contributor to the overall success of the JLA sales function.

The JLA Retail market comprises of launderettes, laundries, and dry cleaners. The role includes advising prospective/new/existing customers on how to set up new launderettes and laundry shops, advising what good looks like to make a success of the venture. Spot sales and crisis purchases are what will get you to target. Some technical knowledge would be needed, plus knowledge of the launderette and dry cleaning market. The model for retail is purchase and liaising with finance companies to help secure funds for the customer.

Demonstrate a proven track record in solutions sales. You will be a strong communicator capable of handling varied client types with ease. You will need to have an understanding of the install and service marketplace. This is a more technical selling role, and this would be advantageous when working in this market.

Experience (what you have done)

We’re looking for you to have experience in a longer sales cycle. Negotiation skills are fundamental to gaining new business. You will have experience in dealing with decision makers. You will have a successful track record in selling products using financial justification to demonstrate value to your customers. Possess an understanding of our products, our competition in the industry, and positioning.

Action-oriented, down-to-earth, energetic, pragmatic, and willing to “roll up your sleeves.” You will be highly performance-driven and be able to focus where the primary goal is to drive revenue growth. You will be a consummate sales professional and an ambassador for the JLA brand.

Qualifications

We will need you to have a full UK driving license as the role involves UK travel.
