A day in the life of a Retail AssistantServing customers, taking payments, and keeping accurate records.Receiving and putting out deliveries, restocking goods, and ensuring attractive displays of merchandise.Stock taking, ordering, and notifying line manager of any deficient goods.Cleaning front and back of house areas, keeping shop and stock rooms tidy.Reporting to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified in the workplace.Following food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements.Learning to open and close the retail unit. Requirements / QualificationsBeen resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work in the UK.Are able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full on the job training will be provided.Customer service experience desirableMust be comfortable working alongside a team and occasional lone working. Details and BenefitsThis is a permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends).
