About The RoleAt GSF Car Parts, the role of a Retail Assistant is crucial for delivering excellent customer service. You will contribute to achieving branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.Main duties include:Serving trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximising sales.Picking relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.Assisting the sales team with product promotions, answering telephone and electronic queries.Satisfying customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.Contributing to a positive team environment and working on personal sales benchmarks.Using the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.Maintaining cleanliness in customer-facing areas.Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their garage needs.Representing the company professionally and promoting our values.Working towards achieving relevant KPIs.Working hours: Average hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.About YouWhat you'll need to succeed:Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.Excellent customer service skills.Positive approach to resolving customer queries.Confident with IT and computer systems.Team player with attention to detail.Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office preferred.What we'll offer: Benefits include performance bonuses, annual leave with additional days for length of service, health & wellbeing tools, pension support, life assurance, discounts on household brands, financial wellbeing products, volunteer leave, and career development opportunities.About UsGSF Car Parts is a leading UK automotive parts distributor, supplying thousands of garages across the UK and Ireland.
