Technical Manager – Arcades and Rides

Role Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Ride and Arcade Technical Manager to join our clients team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the safe operation of rides, arcade machines, and related equipment. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will help provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repairs: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of rides and arcade machines.
Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment is safe, functional, and compliant with safety regulations.
Quickly respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime and disruption.
Safety and Compliance: Conduct daily safety checks on all rides and machines.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including documenting inspections and maintenance activities.
Keep up to date with manufacturer guidelines and legal requirements for ride and machine operation.
Operational Support: Assist in the installation and setup of new rides and machines.
Provide technical support to staff during peak times or in case of equipment issues.
Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements or upgrades as needed.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Report any issues, potential hazards, or required upgrades to management.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Required Skills and Experience:
Essential: Proven experience as a technician in a related field (e.g., amusement parks, arcades, or mechanical maintenance).
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred: Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Experience working with high-voltage systems and hydraulic mechanisms.
Familiarity with arcade machines, ticket redemption systems, or VR gaming equipment. Personal Attributes:

Working every Saturday with one day off in the week (9-5/10-6)
