Salary: £90 - £120 per day (Pay-to-Scale)

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1 and KS2. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, offering hands-on classroom experience and the chance to make a real impact on students’ learning and wellbeing.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting pupils in KS1 or KS2 classrooms—either within small groups or on 1:1 SEN support
Helping teachers deliver engaging and differentiated learning activities
Assisting with classroom management and prep duties
Helping students achieve their learning and personal development goals
Promoting inclusion and supporting pupils with additional needs (ADHD, ASD, Asperger’s or SEMH needs. )

Ideal Candidate

Experience working with primary-age children in either mainstream or SEN settings
DBS certificate or willing to apply one through Teaching Personnel
Strong communication, patience, and adaptability
A proactive, nurturing, and team-oriented mindset
