About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and nurturing school in Brixton. You'll be supporting pupils across a range of age groups and learning abilities, including those with:
Autism (ASC) ADHD Speech, Language and Communication Needs Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties Moderate and Complex Learning DifficultiesYour role will include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs Assisting the class teacher with planning and adapting lessons Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being Encouraging independence and engagement in learning activitiesAbout You:
We're looking for someone who is: ✅ Experienced in supporting children with a range of SEN needs ✅ Patient, empathetic, and confident in managing challenging behaviour ✅ Able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff ✅ A great communicator with a proactive and flexible attitude ✅ Ideally holding a relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, SEN training)
