A wonderful, inclusive primary school in Lewisham is looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team from January 2026.

About the Role

You'll be working in a small KS1 class supporting children with Autism (ASC) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
Your role will involve:

  • Supporting the class teacher to deliver tailored, engaging lessons

  • Helping pupils to develop confidence, communication, and independence

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support

  • Using visual aids, communication tools, and sensory strategies to meet individual needs

  • Working closely with the SEN team and external professionals to ensure every child thrives
