Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Angmering
Pay Rate: £90 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a patient, empathetic, and proactive individual eager to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive and supportive school in Angmering. This is a rewarding opportunity to help pupils overcome learning challenges, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

As a SEN TA, you will:

Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEN.
Assist teachers in delivering lessons and adapting resources to meet individual learning needs.
Help create a structured, safe, and nurturing learning environment.
Support pupils in developing academic skills, independence, and confidence.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff to inform future support.

Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant role:

Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN, additional learning needs, or behavioural challenges (preferred).
A calm, patient, and compassionate approach to working with pupils.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively under teacher guidance.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
