SEN Teaching Assistant – Forestdale Area | EYFS & KS1 | Full-Time | Long-Term Temporary | January Start or Sooner

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a meaningful, long-term role near Forestdale? Do you have a passion for supporting pupils in EYFS and KS1 with additional needs, and a deep understanding of the impact early intervention can have?

We’re recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Forestdale area. This is a full-time, temporary but ongoing opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)

* Assist EYFS and KS1 learners with emotional regulation, communication, and learning

* Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised support plans

* Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes confidence and independence

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting

* Strong understanding of EYFS and KS1 developmental needs

* Passionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children

* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Job Details:

* Location: Near Forestdale

* Start Date: January or sooner

* Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Temporary

* Hours: Monday to Friday, school hours

* Pay: Competitive weekly rates
