SEN Teaching assistant

Academics are currently working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school based in Hammersmith, seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join them from September. Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO, you will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Your role will be key in promoting inclusive learning and managing behaviour positively.

Location: Primary school, Hammersmith
Start Date: November start
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one to a child in Nursery with SEN such as ASD and complex needs

Promote inclusive learning and positive behaviour management

Help create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment

Liaise effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents to support pupil progress
