SEN Teaching Assistant – Birmingham (Acocks Green) | EYFS & KS1 | Full-Time | Long-Term | January Start or Sooner
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term, full-time role in Birmingham? Do you have a passion for supporting pupils in EYFS and KS1 with additional needs, and passionate about making learning meaningful and inclusive?
We’re recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing primary school near Acocks Green, Birmingham. This is a temporary but ongoing opportunity to make a lasting impact, working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who need tailored support to thrive.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with special educational needs (SEN)
* Assist EYFS and KS1 pupils with learning, emotional regulation, and social development
* Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised learning plans
* Create a safe, inclusive environment that promotes confidence and independence
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary or SEN school setting
* Strong understanding of EYFS and KS1 developmental needs
* Passionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

* Hours: Monday to Friday, school hours
* Pay: Competitive weekly pay
