Weekly Rate: £460-£500
Hours: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) | 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-Term, Temp-to-Perm

Long Term Futures are working with a warm and inclusive mainstream primary school in Woodgate, who are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with ADHD, SEMH, and attachment needs. The successful candidate will provide consistent, 1:1 support focused on emotional regulation, behaviour management, and developing trust through a calm, nurturing approach.

This is a long-term position with strong potential to become permanent. You'll be part of a collaborative SEN team with guidance from a dedicated SENCO and experienced support staff.

What the School Is Looking For:

Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)

Experience supporting children with SEMH, ADHD, and attachment needs

Skilled in behaviour support, emotional regulation, and relationship building

Calm, patient, and consistent approach to working with children

Familiarity with EHCPs and supporting progress through structured intervention

Able to follow guidance from the class teacher and SENCO while using initiative
