GSL Education are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a friendly and inclusive school setting in Sheffield. This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to change lives.
Your Role as SEN Teaching Assistant Will Include:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support.
- Assisting with EHCPs and personalised learning plans.
- Creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Supporting personal care and mobility needs when required.
- Promoting independence, resilience, and social development.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- A calm, patient, and flexible approach.
- Understanding of inclusive education practices.
- Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (preferred but not essential).
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
