Teaching Assistant – SEN Support (Full-Time)
Location: Longsight
Start Date: December 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a highly respected primary school in Longsight, currently seeking a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This full-time role involves working closely with children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, supporting a range of SEN needs. The school, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is dedicated to nurturing every child’s development—spiritually, physically, socially, and intellectually—and is looking for someone who shares their inclusive values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with SEN in both academic and daily activities
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons
- Leading targeted one-to-one interventions to help pupils achieve learning goals
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Helping implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teaching staff and external professionals to provide holistic support
What We’re Looking For:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
- Level 2 Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete—training provided)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
