About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in mainstream and specialist schools across Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD.

Assist class teachers in implementing individual education plans (IEPs).

Support students’ emotional, social, and academic development.
-
Help create an engaging and safe classroom environment.

Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and outside professionals.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in a school or care setting).

A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Protocol Education).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
