About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a passionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Croydon. This role gives you the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs.

• Assist teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs.

• Encourage positive behaviour, participation, and independence among pupils.

• Support children’s emotional and social development in a nurturing way.

• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar setting).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
