Specialised Support: Provide targeted assistance to students with Autism, adapting learning materials and strategies to meet their individual needs. Progress Monitoring: Track the progress of students, offering feedback to teachers and parents to ensure that they are reaching key developmental milestones. Emotional Support: Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, offering emotional guidance to help students manage their anxieties and sensory sensitivities. Communication: Maintain strong lines of communication with teachers, parents, and professionals involved in each student's education, ensuring a holistic approach to their development. Promoting Inclusion: Encourage a sense of belonging for students with Autism, promoting social integration and inclusivity within the school community.

Qualifications

Relevant experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly with students on the Autism spectrum. Strong empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students with Autism succeed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work collaboratively within a team, adapting to meet the unique needs of each student. Experience in implementing individualised learning plans (IEPs) and supporting students in both one-on-one and group settings is advantageous. A competitive daily rate of £88-£105.
