Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? [Your School Name] in Eccles is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive team.
As a key member of our SEND department, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure that every student-whatever their needs-has the opportunity to succeed.
What You'll Do:
Support students with a range of special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom.
Assist teachers in adapting learning materials to meet individual needs.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to help students achieve their learning goals.
Foster independence, confidence, and inclusion within the school community.
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external agencies to support student progress.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or SEND setting.
A positive, patient, and nurturing approach to learning.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for helping young people overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEND-related qualification) are desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
