Our client is looking to strengthen their Commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor and a Managing Quantity Surveyor based in Peterborough, with hybrid working arrangements available.

Role Overview:
You will report directly to the Commercial Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the commercial and cost aspects of a project section.
- Providing commercial support to delivery management and on-site teams, acting as the commercial conscience.
- Ensuring operations control costs, maximize value, minimize liabilities, and maintain quality and safety standards, while ensuring efficiency and compliance with governance procedures.
- Working within an integrated delivery team to provide commercial challenge and recommend actions to foster out-performance.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Experience managing costs with a complex Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).
- Experience with NEC forms of contract.
- Strong understanding of water sector projects.
- Proven track record of delivering large projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards, managing conflicting priorities.
- Driving Licence.
- Ability to present, influence, and negotiate with diverse teams, stakeholders, and clients.
- Experience in developing collaborative team cultures and working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Stakeholder management and building partnering relationships.
- Excellent organizational and proactive planning skills.
- Degree in engineering, management, or a related cost discipline (or equivalent).
- Chartered surveyor or working towards chartered status.
Salary range: £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience and level.
Hybrid working: 2-3 days per week in the office.
Additional benefits include 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, with an option to buy 5 additional days.
