Senior Product Manager (Retail)

Senior Product Manager - Tech, Amazon Japan Retail JCI Within the Japan Consumer Innovation organization, we are seeking a customer-focused Senior Product Manager - Technical to develop innovative product solutions that empower Amazon vendors to grow their businesses. Understanding vendor and Retail account manager pain points and identifying their needs.

In this role, you will own the short-and long-term strategy for the product roadmap and lead the development and launch of products that address critical vendor needs, enhancing satisfaction and driving results. Develop a Tech product and solution roadmap aligned with vendor and business goals.
# Measure and improve product performance metrics to ensure continuous growth.

Understand vendor pain points and design innovative product solutions and paid services that resonate with their needs.
# Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, working with Engineering and Science teams to design and build products that balance business needs, technical complexity, and time-to-market.
# Drive innovation in areas such as vendor experience and personalization.
# Leverage data-driven insights to inform product decisions and optimize performance.
# Stay up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive technical excellence and continuous improvement.
# Partner with global teams to adopt best practices and leverage shared technologies.

8+ years of experience in end-to-end product development of large-scale, complex, and globally scalable technical products.
~ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
~ Strong experience collaborating with engineering and science teams in agile development environments.
~ Demonstrated proficiency in cross-functional stakeholder management and effective communication with senior leadership.
~ Fluency in both Japanese and English at a business level.

Proven success in delivering consumer software products or paid services for e-commerce, with a track record of achieving adoption targets.
In-depth knowledge of Japan's B2B e-commerce industry, including vendor, seller, and account management systems.
Experience developing data analytics solutions.
MBA Degree
