Adecco are please to be recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst for our client Southern Water in the Sussex area.
This is initially a temporary role but with the potential to be come a Fixed Term Contract
Your will be working 37 hours per week with a Salary of £200.00 per day inside I35
You will be Primarily Supporting the OAM Project carrying out the following:
- Liaising with Programme Team - Monitoring Queues - Acting as a liaison between project and service desk - Assisting with PAM (privileged access management) and user requests - Attend project meetings (daily, weekly etc.) advising of trends, concerns.
When not assisting with the OAM team and project, can assist with the day to day activities on the Service Desk.
Although the role will remain varied, day to day activities will include:
Taking inbound IT support requests and logging on ServiceNow ticketing system
Aiming for 1st line fix where possible
Escalating any unfixable issues to 2nd and 3rd line support
Meeting internal clients at the desk side to assist with hardware and software issues with the aim to resolve at first line
Password resets using Active Directory (AD)
Assisting users with multi factor authentication issues
Assisting users when new technology is rolled out
Skills and experience needed:
Previous experience in a service desk environment
Experience using Active Directory for password resets etc
Excellent IT skills ...
