Role details: Role: Supply Chain Planner - US Retail
Reporting to: Head of Operations Planning
Job Location: THG HQ, Manchester (WA15 0AF) FULLY OFFICE BASED
Due to the nature of this role, applications from candidates who may prefer altered hours to accommodate US time zones (e.g., 10am-6pm) will be considered.

Summary of Position

Responsible for maintaining product availability across products forecasted for sale through retailer partners while driving forecast accuracy and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Maximise product availability and sales through the Retail arm of the division in the United States
  • Feed forecasts into supply and production planning, collaborate to address challenges and report back to sales and retail customers
  • Work closely with the sales team to support order processing and fulfilment
  • Analyse adherence to forecasts and partner with customers to enhance accuracy over time
  • Manage new Retail product launches end-to-end, ensuring seamless supply chain processes from concept to delivery through cross-departmental collaboration
  • Identify and implement improvements in supply chain processes to optimise efficiency and performance
  • Lead projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the Retail and B2B supply chain in the United States

Requirements

  • Strong numerical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel (SQL is desirable)
  • Background in supply chain, B2B, or commercial operations
  • Experience in a customer or client-facing environment
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to manage cross-functional projects effectively
  • Knowledge of global supply chain processes and trends is advantageous
