About the Role:
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and help us find exceptional people to join our journey. You’ll work directly with founders and department heads to drive our hiring process end-to-end and support onboarding new hires so they hit the ground running.
This role is perfect for someone who is fast, thoughtful, and obsessed with identifying and attracting top talent while delivering a great candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Hiring Ownership
- Write and post job ads that reflect our voice and attract the right talent
- Proactively source candidates through platforms like LinkedIn and job boards
- Screen CVs and applications efficiently to shortlist top candidates
- Conduct initial video interviews to assess fit and alignment with our values
- Coordinate hiring processes with hiring managers and ensure smooth communication throughout
- Create and update scorecards and interview templates for roles
2) Onboarding Support
- Own the onboarding logistics (welcome email, contract coordination, account setup, Slack access, training calendar)
- Set up and update onboarding checklists in Notion or ClickUp
- Liaise with hiring managers to ensure new hires have clarity and structure from day 1
3) Process & Coordination
- Maintain clear hiring pipelines and update team on progress regularly
- Suggest and implement small improvements to the recruitment process
- Maintain ATS (or simple spreadsheets) and improve candidate tracking systems
- Own and maintain a centralised SOP and training hub for the company (e.g. in Notion or ClickUp)
- Organise SOPs clearly by department (e.g. Facebook Ads, Email Marketing, Shopify Backend, Product Launches)
- Work with team leads to collect, structure, and regularly update role-specific SOPs
- Create onboarding checklists for each role, helping new hires ramp up efficiently and independently
- Ensure the SOP hub is intuitive, searchable, and consistently used by the team
Desired Qualities:
- 2+ years experience in recruitment, ideally in e-commerce or high-growth startups
- Extremely organised with great attention to detail
- Strong communicator who is both friendly and professional with candidates
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and can manage multiple roles at once
- Values-aligned and passionate about building great teams
- Prior experience with onboarding is a big plus
