1:1 Teaching Assistant with SEN

A primary school in Liverpool is looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with additional learning needs. The role involves working closely with the pupil to provide consistent support throughout the school day.
Main Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 support tailored to the pupil's educational and social needs.
Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
Support the pupil's engagement with learning activities.
Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to review meetings.

Requirements:

Experience working with KS2 pupils, ideally in a 1:1 or SEN role.
A calm, patient, and flexible approach to supporting learning.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE) are beneficial.
Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
