This role strengthens client relationships, identifies growth opportunities, and ensures solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial targets. You will take full responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the accounts under your responsibility and managing the performance of your team, ensuring all work is completed in line with the SLA. This individual should be a strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategies of the account, balance daily support needs with long-term strategy, and translate vision into effective plans.We are seeking someone who is expert in the Retail Fixtures, Fittings and Permanent Point of Sale Materials (POSM) markets and supply chains, to help develop clients, nurture relationships and convert opportunities. You will operate on a Hybrid basis between home, a UK HH Global office and client site/office.Senior leadership level experience in account management and client service is essential.Note: This job advertisement may include legal and compliance disclosures as required by the country of hire. We will make reasonable adjustments to the recruitment process to accommodate any disability.Key ResponsibilitiesPlay a leading role in the delivery of growth and client satisfaction, including client liaison, management of internal resource departments and management of external suppliersDeliver operational excellenceWith the Senior Account Director manage the on- and off-site Account Teams that operate in the client’s business under your direction, ensuring compliance with company proceduresManage the personal development of your team members through appraisals, one-to-one meetings, mentoring and trainingTake ownership of and resolve issues, quality concerns or corrective actionsDevelop effective growth strategies and manage opportunities for these ClientsWith the Senior Account Director; build client development plans for each year, achieve and excel growth targets and manage overall financial performance of the account, risk analysis and remedyIdentify risks to the account and implement strategies to manage these risksContract review and renewalDevelop strong relationships with senior key decision makersRegular MI reporting and production of account relationship plansKnowledge, Skills & ExperienceExtensive client service management experience, ideally with time spent working on the client site or sitesExtensive people management experience including performance management and team leadershipExperience in managing client service plans, KPIs, budgeting, forecasting and leadershipProven track record of operational management for client services departmentsSignificant experience in developing and maintaining client relationshipsAble to present account planning and strategy for retention, growth and added valueDemonstrable track record of successful client and contract managementAbility to anticipate internal and external business issues and develop risk mitigation strategiesExperience of managing department financialsIn-depth knowledge of Performance Improvement philosophy and implementationSignificant experience managing work in a fast-paced retail environmentPrevious experience presenting to Senior Management / Board levelStrong experience managing large P&L budgetsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) with clarity of expressionDemonstrable people management skillsPassion for qualityWe thank all applicants for their interest in a career with us.
