We are looking for an Account Technology Strategist (ATS) to join our team, focusing on customers within the Retail sector. In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, helping our customers navigate their digital journeys and achieve their business goals.

Working with your Account Executives, leveraging your multi-functional V-Team across the breadth of the Microsoft product portfolio and the vast catalogue of Microsoft Partner offerings, you will build and grow your relationships and partnerships with technology executives within your customers and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customers adopt and embrace AI technologies.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, or related technical/sales experience
  • Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Having experience working in the UK Retail Sector is preferred. Familiarity with the specific challenges and dynamics of this industry is essential.
  • Digital Transformation Expertise: Candidates should demonstrate a track record of driving digital transformation or using technology to drive customer business outcomes in an enterprise environment. This involves understanding how technology can enhance business processes, improve efficiency, and drive growth.
  • Consulting Background: A strong background in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, or related experience is highly desirable. 
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Successful candidates exhibit a customer obsession. They seek to understand customer needs deeply and propose tailored solutions that align with Microsoft’s offerings.
  • Responsibilities

  • Customer & Industry Insights
    Develop business insights based on the customer’s technology landscape, engagement history, and collaboration with internal teams and industry stakeholders. Use these insights to forecast needs and shape account strategies.

  • Strategic Engagement
    Challenge customers to explore alternative business models and digital strategies. Lead technical teams to identify opportunities and orchestrate resources to address broader business challenges.

  • Solution Architecture & Leadership
    Build digital technology strategies aligned with customer outcomes. Apply deep or broad expertise across accounts to architect solutions that meet business and IT needs.

  • AI & Security Transformation
    Drive AI and Security strategy conversations with customers. Document business objectives and technology plans, and lead engagements that position Microsoft as a trusted technology partner.

  • Cross-Team Orchestration
    Coordinate internal and partner teams to deliver strategic outcomes. Influence account planning and execution to align with consumption goals and quota attainment.

  • Demand Generation: Create and qualify opportunities, lead envisioning sessions, and drive technical sales with internal teams and partners.

  • Technology Strategy: Develop long-term roadmaps, resolve blockers, and align architecture with business goals to drive cloud adoption.

  • Trusted Advisor: Maintain deep product and industry knowledge, advise on security, and represent customer feedback internally.
