About us:

VPZ is a family-run business with our head office in Edinburgh. We have grown from just 1 store in Edinburgh to over 180 stores across the whole of the UK and we’re not stopping there. We are known for setting and driving the standards within the vape industry and providing excellent product and sales training.


About the role:

You will be responsible for a group of Cluster Managers, and Store Managers within your designated region. The role covers management and execution of your operational budget, creating strategies to help each store achieve its sales target, and driving standards and success within your region.


As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximise profitability.


Your duties will also include management of 65- 70 staff in your region, setting performance objectives, evaluating, and optimising operational performance. While also ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld and preparing operations and financial reports.


Salary: Up to £60,000 (OTE £90,000) + Company Car


Experience required:

  • 3 years + of relevant management experience in a similar role
  • Solid sales and influencing skills
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
  • Strong operational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fast paced, high volume multi-site business experience (preferably retail)
  • Drivers licence is required


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieving business goals and revenue targets
  • Overseeing daily operations , managing budgets, and setting performance objectives
  • Preparing and presenting monthly analysis, and reports of operations and sales initiatives.
  • Planning, evaluating, and optimising operations to be efficient and cost-effective.
  • Store Visual Merchandising execution to company guidelines.
  • Store operating procedures, the creation of BPM’S and SOP’S and revisions to improve process.
  • Ensure stock rotation in store is managed accordingly to minimise stock loss.
